Mango Languages is provided by the Arkansas State Library through the Arkansas Traveler Database.  This resource provides language-learning experiences with lesson plans for 71 different languages. Mango also features ESL lessons for over 16 languages along with a text translator. This resource can be accessed from any personal computer or smartphone. First time users must create a profile in order to use the resource.

The Traveler program provides free remote access for all Arkansas citizens to high-quality subscription databases from reputable publishers. The databases contain a variety of information sources: popular magazines, newspapers and periodicals; academic and professional journals, eBook collections, and general reference and discovery sources that are suitable for online and scholarly research.The Traveler program presents a significant costs savings. Traveler spends approximately $750 per library, but each library would pay over $100,000 to duplicate the same resources and access. This collection of databases can be accessed from any personal computer or smartphone.

African American Heritage is exclusively devoted to African American family history research. This collection was created in partnership with leading African American genealogists and recognized leaders in genealogical information to develop a comprehensive mix of resources, records, and tools specifically pertaining to African Americans. HeritageQuest® Online is a comprehensive treasury of American genealogical sources. It delivers an essential collection of genealogical and historical sources with coverage dating back to the 1700s. The collection consists of six core data sets: U.S. Federal Censuses, Genealogy and local history books, Periodical Source Index (PERSI), Revolutionary War records, Freedman’s Bank Records, and LexisNexis U.S. Serial Set. The Arkansas Digital Newspaper Project (ADNP) has digitized over 200,000 pages of newspaper content as part of the National Digital Newspaper Program (NDNP) and is currently working on digitizing an additional 100,000 pages as part of our third cycle (2021-2023). All content digitized as part of this program is funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities through a partnership with the Library of Congress.
